Stevia Hellas is start-up of the year 2017 in Greece

Stevia Hellas, RurInno beneficiary from Central Greece, has been awarded the start-up of the year 2017 in Greece! Stevia Hellas won the first price in the category “Industry – Manufacturing –Processing” among numerous nominated enterprises.

The price was awarded in a festive ceremony at 18th March 2017 in Piraeus, Greece. The price was awarded according to the criteria innovativeness, business concept, sustainability, scalability and success. The StartUp/ScaleUp Greece awards are granted annually by the Greek corporation Papastratos. The social cooperative Stevia Hellas is one of the first producers of the diabetic friendly, low calories sugar substitute stevia in Europe. It ensures the livelihood of small family farms.
